What is SAT Test Day?

DCPS offers the PSAT and the SAT to students FREE of charge at their home school during the fall and the spring. The PSAT will be a digital test starting in the Fall of 2023 followed by the SAT in the Spring of 2024.

SY23-24 In-School Test Dates:

  • 9-11 Grade – PSAT – October 2-31, 2023 (digital)
    • Date will vary by high school (School calendar will be available in September)
  • 12 Grade – SAT – October 11, 2023 (paper)
  • 11 Grade – SAT – March 11-22, 2024 (digital)
    • Date will vary by high school (School calendar will be available in December)

Why The SAT?

The SAT is an admissions requirement at many colleges across the country. The SAT helps to:

  • Connect students to scholarship opportunities
  • Increase access to AP and college credit
