| 6:00 pm | Opening and Welcome The program will kick off with a welcome and remarks from DCPS leadership and an overview of the schedule of events. |
| 6:20 pm | DCPS Supports You Learn the various programs available at your school and district-wide to help you get college-ready and ensure your success in college. |
| 7:00 pm | Finding the Right Fit College Students and their families will understand DCPS Smart College Choice Initiative, and gain tips for researching and finding the right fit college. Recommended for 10th Grade students and families. |
| Getting Ready to Apply to College* This session is designed for students entering their last year in high school to learn do’s and don’ts of the college application process directly from admissions representatives from various colleges and universities. Recommended for 11th grade students and families. | |
| Transitioning to College: Next Step This Next Step session will support our graduating seniors heading to college on their next steps to prepare for and successfully enter college. Such as, confirming college enrollment, meeting colleges’ immunization health requirements, signing up for Orientation, tips for building your class schedule and knowing more about DCPS Persists. Recommended for 12th grade students and families. | |
