DCPS Goes to College Networking Event: Night 2

Event Location: MLK Memorial Library (901 G ST NW)

Please fill out this form to officially register for the 2024 DCPS Goes to College In-Person Networking Event on May 14th OR May 15th! Tickets will be first come, first served. 


WHAT?
A chance for 9-11th grade DCPS students & a parent/family member to connect with college admissions representatives to ask questions and learn more about the college admissions process. View the detailed event schedule for more information.

Please note: The in-person networking event is different from the virtual programming offered to students/families throughout May. We encourage interested/eligible students to attend both in-person and virtual programming!

WHEN?
Students will select one date to attend: May 14th OR May 15th from 4:30-8:00pm

  • 3:30-4:30pm: Doors open, student check-in, light food & drinks
  • 4:30-5:15pm: Event begins (Welcome + Guest Speakers)
  • 5:20-6:20pm: Student admissions activity + Parent/Family Member admissions panel
  • 6:20-7:20pm: College Conversations
  • 7:30-8:00pm: Event closing + College swag collection


WHERE?
Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library at 901 G St. NW, Washington, DC 20001. Parking in the surrounding area is limited, so public transit is encouraged. MLK Memorial Library is accessible via the following metro stops:

  • Metro Center (Red, Orange, Silver, & Blue Lines)
  • Gallery Place-Chinatown (Red & Green Lines)
